I was just going to post about Eglin. Being from FWBHS I thought I'd check to see what's reefin' at the world's biggest base.

Just moved to Eglin.
I recently retired and moved here to Eglin for work. I have always wanted a reef aquarium but never wanted to invest in one while I was active due to all the moves.
The wife and I got a 33g Biocube to see how we do with it. It's been running for 9 months and I'm already thinking of upgrading. I would really like to get the Seriphos Drop Off 98g Tank. I can't find too many reviews on it though. On a local note, has anyone shopped at Elite Aquatics? I actually really like them. The location seems shady but the guy who owns it is a Vet and takes really great care of his corals. |

That's funny... comparing FWB to LA where I am now, I can't remember a shady area there. Racetrack road was about the most "shady", and now I think of it as a quiet small town street.

Just found this thread. Zup everyone , I'm at Eglin by way of Tyndall (thanks Hurricane Michael) and have a 29g nano at the house in FWB. Good to see theres a small group of AD reefers local to the area.

I heard a lot of bomb operations are going to Hill, from Eglin. Maybe some reefs can go with them and show them how southerners do it.

If any one is interested I'll be selling a 45g cube (drilled, center overflow) with stand including a trigger sapphire 20g cube sump in the coming months as I upgrade. Looking for $250, as the aquarium has scratches and some are a bit deep from previous owner. Open to trades on nice sps sticks as well. Figured I'd put here first before it goes open to the masses in other forums/sites.
